The Immoral Beast is the second boss in the game, it appears in the back-half of stage 3 and starts chasing after Vincent until he manages to make it out of the nightmare.
The birth of the Immortal Beast is implied by Catherine to be the result of a rather experimental evening between herself and Vincent. It is left up to the players imagination what the specifics of it were.
Its long, thick tongue and firm muscular arm-legs make it a force to be reckoned with. It also shoots heart missiles from its mouth which temporarily invert your controls.
And yes, it is supposed to be a butt.
