Overview
Inebriation, or drunkenness, is the state of being impaired physically and mentally by consuming alcohol. While drunk, a person's cognitive abilities and motor skills are hampered. This effect lessens over time as the alochol runs its course.
Some video games simulate the notion of becoming drunk. When the player character is inebriated, it may result in sluggish control and blurred visuals. In other games, this depiction may be limited to a simple penalty to the player character's statistics.
