    Now it's not anything game breaking for me and will cause me to stop playing but holy shit this game is quiet. I didn't really notice it in the demo but after playing the game for a while, I'm seriously noticing the lack of ambient sound. It's kinda annoying. I avoid playing the game in surround sound now because of how empty the world fields for lacking a lot of ambient sound. I'm playing a mission in the shitty flooded place in New Marais where you shine a spotlight on the monsters and well...it's eerily quiet and not in a scary kind of way. I'm just burning up the monsters and shit is just...quiet, there isn't even any ambient music playing. It sounds picky but that kind of shit is annoying me. At least the rest of the game is fantastic.

    Does the lack of sound bother you too?

    Didn't bother me at all. Seems like a minor thing that Sucker Punch probably just thought wouldn't be worth their time or resources. Loved the rest of the game though, one of my favourites of the year so far.

    I didn't have a problem with how quiet the town was. TBH, I never noticed it. I did notice that the menu you purchase your powers from is completely silent. No feedback on a purchase and no click when navigating the interface. Just complete silence.

    I sometimes wonder if I'd have noticed if Brad didn't mention it.

    I haven't played it yet but during the quick look I didn't really notice until Brad said that- it put me off a bit. I wonder if they'll fix it or whatever- if that's even possible. Kind of weird they'd forget to add ambiance.

    I noticed it before Brad mentioned it in that Quick Look and now I really wish I lived in that city. A car passing by, no sound, birds flying by, no sound at all. No screaming kids. It would be a perfect place to live. Aside from all the people with rocket launchers

    There's no sound, but if you can listen closely and hold your ear to the ground you can usually hear some poor fool getting wasted by a rocket launcher.

    Brad mentioning it in the review made me notice it more but playing the game in surround sound just rubs it in further. I don't like it. I just play the game without it now because I dislike how quiet everything is. It's not right at all. I guess I'm just used to hearing good ambient sound in other games. Shame that this great open world game is lacking it.

    It seemed quiet, but honestly it never bothered me, nor is it anything close to a deal breaker. I've actually gotten into a habit of turning off music in games lately.

    It bothers me a little bit. With very little noise in the world, if I ever hear anything, it makes me think some sort of event is going to happen. Sometimes I'll be running around hearing no noise going on, then out of nowhere I hear someone shout Hey Cole! (or something like that)  I stop and look around in case I need to fight but there's nothing there.

    I noticed it at first, but I think with all of the battles and action that happen the game would be too noisy.  In the first Infamous I remember some sort of metal zipper or something making noise and it drove me crazy for the longest time.  So I am glad it is silent and that Cole doesn't make much noise when runnint!

    The only time it ever time it ever bothered me was the first cut scene with Nixx, when she attacks you, there is almost no sound it was really weird
