The devs of Infinite Crisis decided to leak out information on new Champions in development, provided that the following disclaimer is attached:

We only ask that you make it very clear that all of these champions are still very much in development. Some of them already have had huge kit overhauls, and, in some cases, role changes. That's why all of this information should be taken with a grain of salt, as much of it can change as we go forward.

With that said, here are the ones that have been confirmed.

    • Dex-Starr: Cute kitty who also happens to be a Red Lantern. Secret dance move involves him riding a not-Roomba. A bruiser who will likely use Rage instead of Will like Atrocitus (the only playable Red Lantern so far).
    • Deathstroke: a.k.a. "Slade," that contract killer with the sword and the guns. Role still in limbo as the team is working on how to balance him with the rest of the cast, but he will be in the game.
    • Nightmare Catwoman: With Prime and Gaslight versions already playable, the Nightmare version is supposed to be more of a tank who slightly resembles an Egyptian god.
    • Solomon Grundy: Born on a Monday...you know the rest. The zombie villain from Green Lantern who made appearances in Batman: Arkham City and Injustice, probably going to be a damage sponge in this game.
    • Zod: Superman's nemesis from Krypton, not much info about him except that he will be added to this game at some point.

On a related note, Lex Luthor has been officially released a week ago, voiced by none other than Steve Blum.

I was kinda hoping to see more alternate universe characters appear, but the list is still interesting if you're looking for more tanks or bruisers to fight with. Now get hype!
