I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really excited for the iTunes Store to update in a few hours so I can pick it up.
Sadly, I don't own a working 360, so I missed out on Shadow Complex...kinda glad I can pick up their next masterpiece.
I heard it also has online, so it'd be nice to play with other users.
Anyone else excited to play this on their iPad or iPhone 4?
Infinity Blade
Game » consists of 2 releases. Released Dec 09, 2010
Infinity Blade is the first iOS game to use the Unreal Engine. The game pits players against a variety of massive foes on a quest to slay the God King.
Eagerly Waiting For Apple Store Update >_>
I have a iPod Classic that works just fine, but this game is one more thing that makes me want to get an iPod Touch. I have no interest in the iPhone. I'm not a fan of over priced phone contracts.
For those of you who have played this: What can you do when you are not fighting? Can you explore and talk to people? Is there a story?
" Just picked it up and I'm on the second Bloodline. It controls weird, but it's really addictive. So much loot and leveling. It's 6 bucks by the way. The graphics are just wow...it looks like Gears at times. "This - was blown away by how good it looks. The Rage HD tech demo pales in comparison. Sure, the lighting is all faked, none of it dynamic and probably painted on to save processing power but that doesn't mean it still doesn't look absolutely jaw dropping most of the time.
Very, very impressed.
Just finished writing up a review for it. Was quite happy with it, definitely think people interested in seeing what the iPhone can do graphically should get it.

" @KaosAngel said:I wouldn't say Gears, but on my iPhone it's definitely looks comparible to a current gen game or at the least a high end xbla one. Maybe it doesn't look as good on a screen as big as the iPads but on the iPhone it's pretty fantastic." Just picked it up and I'm on the second Bloodline. Has there been any word if the stuff mentioned in the "Coming Soon" button is free? I'd love to get some more content but not sure how I feel about paying for it.

"I'm not paying for DLC for an iPhone game...and I'm sure as hell not paying for online. It says it'll give you online, so it should be free.
There's apparently a distinct difference between the iPhone 4 version and the iPhone 3GS version, if you have a 3GS that might be the issue but it's definitely better than any of the DS games I've played and some of the PSP games.
@NekuSakuraba:Yeah, it looks better than the DS and most PSP games but I dot see it living up to consoles which is what some people are saying.

Consider games like Gears of War or Mass Effect which were released back in 2006 and 2007 respectively on the Unreal Engine 3 and compare them to more modern versions like Gears of War 2, Mass Effect 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
They all run off the same engine but look pretty different from each other (not to mention run on the same systems better). Infinity Blade is only a first iteration, with time I'm quite looking forward to seeing what they can do.
