So watching those battle arena and trailers of this game Its probably safe to say this is going to probably play a lot like the previous Mortal Kombat game, which isn't a bad thing considering its enticed me enough to pre-order this on Amazon. I have to wonder though if this game will have DC characters that play similarly or close to a MK counterpart. So far when looking at the roster my assumption are:

• Cyborg will probably play close to a Sektor/Cyrax because of the tech aspect to their moves. Seems like projectiles are his main move sets.
• Lex Luthor will probably resemble Jax due to the fact in the Dc Universe vs. Mortal Kombat game that came out a few years ago these character were fairly identical.
• Batman I gotta assume would probably be close to resembling a Kabal due to the gadgets he uses and his speed.
• Killer Frost obviously would have to be Sub Zero cause of the ice move sets. Find it weird they would go with Killer Frost as their ice based character considering the more well known Mr. Freeze and Captain Cold are out there.
• For some reason when seeing demos of Black Adam I automatically thought of Shang Tsung, probably due to how each characters in their own ways are sorcerers and base their fighting on magic.
• Last but not least was the Flash who I thought reminded me of Smoke or Scorpion due to their ability to teleport.

Wonder if you guys have any assumptions, if any of the characters in this game.

I can already inform you that Batman is very reminiscent of Scorpion. There are plenty of videos on YouTube of the demo showing what Batman, WW and Lex are like.

Batman seems Scorpion-ish from the demo.

They've already finished showing off the entire roster and Killer Frost isn't on it soo... where did you see him at?

@casper_: Well after watching that vid I've got to agree with the OP and say out of the three big ice characters they have I wish they had gone with Captain Cold or at least Mr. Freeze.

Now that I think about it probably they didn't have enough female characters so that might be the reason why they went the Killer Frost route. Wouldn't be surprised though if Mr. Freeze or Captain Cold became a a dlc skin that you can download or unlock in the future, kinda like Eddie Gordo / Christie in Tekken.

Is Solomon Grundy analogous to anyone in particular? Jax? Sheeva? I don't really know who Mortal Kombat's grappler is, apparently.

I'd probably assume sheeva if anything. Probably safe to assume Captain Marvel (Shazam) will probably be similar to Raiden?

I would think Flash would be similar to Kabal because of the nomad dash...

Apparently, Batman is like Scorpion and Superman is reminiscent of Liu Kang.

From what I've seen in the demo, Doomsday seems to have a bunch of Goro's style and moves.

Raven looks alot like Sindel from what I've seen so far on youtube vids. Can't wait to get my hands on this game and just play with the mechanics a bit.
