A game from Limbo developers, Playdead, set in a dystopian environment.

    I have a question. Spoilerish I guess.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has any thoughts on what the soundwave was about.

I've watched and read some peoples takes on the game but the sound wave section never gets mentioned. I'm scratching my head a little over it.

No idea. Nothing's really definitively explained. The pulse might just be a carrier wave to all the drones out there, something to keep them suppressed.

So for those who buy into a "biological (i.e. 'Inside' the human body)" analogy, this represents the pulse / heart beating. That's my own take on that particular angle, anyway.

I've seen another interpretation on these forums that this is somehow a signal to, variously, the drones and / or the boy.

I'm sure there are others I've missed, but hope this helps get the little grey cells going. One of the things I like most about the game is that it lets everyone have their own take, on anything - and it's all perfectly valid.
