The Cabal are a militaristic alien race in the Destiny universe, a species built around conquest, combat, and empire.
When monsters in a game can turn on each other after an accidental injury and fight to the death instead of focusing on the player, or when some of the player's enemies also hate each other, and will attack each other on sight.

Most of the remnants of the Red Legion now serve under Empress Caiatl, Ghaul's Daughter, And are now allied with Humanity and the Eliksni "House of Light" in The Coalition.
The Black Fleet is an armada of massive Darkness-aligned tetrahedral vessels, known as Pyramids.
The Vex are a cyber-organic species in the Destiny universe, consisting of microscopic organisms suspended in liquid radiolaria that dwell inside robotic frames. The Vex are capable of advanced data processing, time travel, portal creation, and remarkable feats of engineering, but possess no sentience whatsoever.
