Introduction

In the middle of the boundless ocean lies the island Stronghold - and in the Stronghold’s unexplored depths are the two powerful artefacts. No one knows their exact location... at least, no one who is alive today… but long-forgotten legends tell of an ancient people who controlled the skills of the known world from the island. This powerful empire has since vanished into the mists of time - only the impressive architecture of the former leaders' residence remains as a silent witness to the splendour that once existed here.
The huge Stronghold, with towering walls, richly-ornamented pillars and filigree arcades stretches from the island's shores all the way up to the mysterious Temple of Darkness on the peak of a mountain... but don't be fooled by the air of peace and tranquillity here... because evil lurks in every corner of this ancient bastion…
