    Overview

    Jamaican Daninghan (pronounced Ja-my-can) is an officer of the Titan forces in Mobile Suit Z Gundam. He takes command of several battles against the Argama and the AEUG, but is distrustful of fellow Titans officer Paptimus Scirocco. He attempts to swing the war in the Titans' favor by dropping an abandoned colony on a lunar city, but Scirocco sees through his plan and has word of it leaked to the AEUG. As a result, Jamaican's scheme ends in failure.

    Jamaican eventually meets his end when Yazan Gable, a Titans mobile suit pilot under his command, has had enough of being held back. Yazan goads an attack while positioned next to the bridge of Jamaican's ship, and the ensuing blast kills the officer instantly.
