Edit: It will never cease to amaze me how people on the interwebs love to argue over nothing. Seriously? Why is my inbox getting flooded with people quoting me saying the exact same fucking thing: "You know this how?". Do you really want to pick a fight over why I think this movie will not be good? I already elaborated on why I feel this way IN THIS THREAD, and I can see that I am not alone when I say that I think the movie will be an overly-long, CG-ridden, movie with a concept that doesn't interest me at all (and I refrain from using more negative words like "laughable" or "ridiculous" or "downright stupid").
The last thing Cameron did that I enjoyed hit theatres almost 20 years ago. Should this movie come out and change the way I view cinema, like Cameron thinks this movie will, I will gladly post on this forum about how I was dead wrong about the quality of Avatar. Until then: Get off my case.
"OH MY GOD, WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT GAMESPOT? THOSE GUYS WRITE FOR SHIT AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! WHAT A BUNCH OF ASSHATS!"
Oh, sorry. I thought this was where everyone was supposed to post their USUAL comments when GameSpot reviews a game. However, since Avatar seems to be the popular thing to hate on right now, I guess everyone agrees with them.
Anyways, on to the review...I think Kevin did a good job of pointing out the flaws and triumphs of the game. The review is fair. I'm not expecting a life-changing game or anything, but I am still going to check it out. I mean, look at the fact that X-Men Origins: Wolverine wasn't the greatest game, but man...that brutal slaying shit made it fun as hell!
" what? A movie game that isn't awesome? Dear god, is the universe going to implode!? "I was just posting this because of all the videos that were posted on Giant Bomb and because I'm sure people were curious what the final product was.

I actually feel the same. I will probably never play this game, but that's not to say I wouldn't enjoy it a little here and there. It just seems too... mediocre." If the movie doesn't interest you, fine. Not gonna hold it against you. But when I read one simple sentence that says "And the movie will be just as bad", then that is different. When you give reasoning to why you think it will be bad, then whatever. Your opinion. But if you want people to stop flooding your inbox, then maybe you should elaborate a little more in your first reply. Just sayin'.
" what? A movie game that isn't awesome? Dear god, is the universe going to implode!? "Apparently CL60 will look at his posts he is freaking the fuck out.
its too bad.
the movie and the world of pandora really could have made for a fantastic game setting... owell.
