James "Jim" Walls is the creator of the Police Quest series of games from Sierra On-Line. Walls was the story writer and designer of Police Quest I through Police Quest III. Before leaving Sierra On-Line he also worked on the less successful espionage adventure game Codename: ICEMAN.
