Jean Pierre Polnareff wields the Stand, Silver Chariot. He is a good-natured guy and expresses his feelings with excessive energy.

    First meeting with Dio

Polnareff sister was murdered by a man that he described as having 2 right hands. While searching for the criminal, Dio discovered Polnareff and defeated him. Dio then implanted a mind-control parasite on Polnareff and sent him to assassinate Jotaro.

    Stardust Crusaders

Polnareff first met Jotaro's group at Hong Kong. There, he dueled Muhammad Abdul outside of the restaurant. He explained that his Stand Silver Chariot fights best in an enclosed area while Abdul's Stand Magician's Red fights best in an open area in warm weather.

Abdul defeated Polnareff and recognized his chivalry and discovered the mind-control parasite. Jotaro removed the parasite and Polnareff joined the group.

At Calcutta, Polnareff found the man who killed his sister, J. Geil who wields the Stand The Hanged Man. Polnareff, with the help of Kakyoin and Abdul fought against J. Geil and Hol Horse, wielder of The Emporer. J. Geil was killed but Abdul was hospitalized.

Later at Pakistan, Polnareff, Kakyoin, and Joseph defeated Steely Dan, wielder of The Lovers.

At Egypt, Polnareff dueled Chaka, wielder of Anubis. After he won, he was possessed by Anubis and fought Jotaro. Polnareff and Jotaro later fought against Alessi, wielder of Sethan.

Finally at Dio's mansion, Polnareff, Iggy, and Abdul fought against Vanilla Ice, wielder of Cream. Abdul and Iggy lost their lives before Polnareff finally defeated Ice. Polnareff also briefly attacked Dio, giving Jotaro the opportunity to counter-attack. After Dio's defeat, Polnareff returned to France while lamenting the loss of his friends Abdul and Iggy.

    Golden Wind

Polnareff attempted to kill Diavolo, the main villain of Golden Wind. He lost but learned the ability of Diavolo's Stand, King Crimson. He contacted Giorno Giovanna's group who wanted to defeat Diavolo and helped them on their quest. Near the end of the arc, Polnareff delivered an arrow to increase the power of Giorno's stand in order to defeat Diavolo.

Silver Chariot evolved into Silver Chariot Requiem during the fight to protect the arrow from Diavolo. During the fight, Polnareff lost his body and his soul persisted within a tortoise, Coco Jumbo, wielder of Mr. President.

    Silver Chariot

Polnareff's Stand, Silver Chariot is a fencer. It is not very strong, but it is phenomenally fast and accurate. Silver Chariot can move and attack faster than light. It usually wears armor to protect itself which reduces its speed.

Silver Chariot also has a one-shot ability to shoot the blade of its sword. The blade must be retrieved because it cannot regenerate another one.

    Silver Chariot Requiem

Silver Chariot Requiem has the ability to switch the souls of the people within a large area. People who attempt to attack it will have its Stand attack its own wielder. Its only objective is to protect the arrow and prevent anyone from obtaining it.
