Sometimes, rather than building a character model from scratch, a developer will sometimes use a real person as a template and use his or her physical attributes to create a similar character model to be used in their video game. In some cases that real reason will appear as themselves in games.
A divekick is a gravity-defying move found in many fighting games that allows an airborne fighter to propel themselves downward at their opponent at a high rate of speed.
Joke characters are characters in video games that provide humor, and are often parodies of characters from other games, or parodies of famous celebrities.
A Palette Swap is when two or more characters share the same style sprite or character model with only minor color or cosmetic changes. Although visually similar, palette swap characters may have very different moves and personalities.
Whether with a button press or menu, taunts destroy friendships and can even make the computer go crazy.
While piledrivers, clotheslines, and suplexes might seem at home in wrestling games, many professional wrestling moves have found their way into other video game genres. Brawlers and fighting games are commonly home to these moves, with Mike Haggar's piledriver being a classic example.
