Well, I'm not so sure about the resemblance, but she does definitely have his mannerism and speech patterns.  The way she moves her body and hands, the pauses and accentuation when speaking is all very Jeff-like.  I think that is more of what gives her the appearance of being a "female Jeff".  Whenever an actor or comedian imitates someone else, it doesn't take much for the viewer to accept that they are that person.  In this case, the young lady is (unknown to her) doing Jeff Gerstmann, and so we think that she looks like his twin even if they don't really look all that similar.  

Akia's a really nice person.  I used to know her back in the days of beta testing some games.  She'd be happy that people are watching her vlog, female Gerstmann comments included.  Her husband wouldn't give a damn either way.  Also she doesn't look nearly that fat in real life because the webcam portions of the vid are squishing her face veritically.
