Jennifer Hale is a Canadian born actress and singer best known for her voice over work in video games. She has worked on some of the biggest games series ever including Metal Gear Solid, Metroid and Mass Effect. She is sometimes credited as Carren Learning.


Hale was born in Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, and raised in the US and attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts at a young age. While still at school, she worked as a production assistant and, after graduating, moved into acting. Her first big break was the movie A Father's Homecoming in 1988.

She would later move to Hollywood where she would lend her voice to TV and radio commercials, eventually getting into games in 1994 with the PC RPG, Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness as the character Katrina.
