Of all the things I was thinking this project was gonna be, I did not see a follow-up to 'All Systems Goku'.

Excited to listen along! JoJo is such a ride. Hope Super Eyepatch Wolf gets to do more things with GB in the future.

As much as I want to participate, I just don't think I have time in my life for two weekly podcasts + 2 bi-weekly podcasts. That's also in addition to the occasional discord Q&A podcast and all of Nextlander's stuff.

Oh to be in my 30s, married with two kids, a full time job, and a very short commute. Waaah, I don't have time for my podcasts. :(

And here I just cancelled my premium membership. I needed a reminder why I did so.

Oh man, this is going to be quite the journey, a lenghty one.

Worth nothing that Netflix only has Season 1, 2 and the most recent Season 5. European Netflix at least.

Crunchyroll has Season 1,2 ,3 and 4.

I know nothing about Jojo, but John rules so I guess now I will?

Haven't posted in here in years but let me tell you something: I love Giant Bomb, I love Super Eyepatch Wolf, I like anime... this idea is terrible. First 2 seasons of Jojo look bad and are very generic. Now for the spicy take: Jojo, even "the good seasons" (ie not season 1-2), is hella overrated. Wall to wall nonsense ass pulls. You could've done much better

This is a WONDERFUL pairing.

This is my favorite anime and I'm stoked to see the crew's reactions. I hope it's not too ridiculous for them and that they don't get overly critical of it and just enjoy the ride. I wish Dan was still on the main crew because he would have loved JoJo.

All systems Goku is one of my all time favourite podcasts despite being an anime hater (maybe not despite...), so I can't wait for this one! Would have been nice to have both Jeffs though.

The first 3 episodes of Jojo are damn near perfect and is hell of an entrance to anime in general for somewhere, can't wait for the first ep and to do my own rewatch.

Dang, guess I finally need to watch JJBA.

Happy that they were able to get Super Eyepatch Wolf and it's cool to see how excited everyone involved is, but oh boy this sure feels disappointing... Giant Bomb has been over-saturated with podcasts or podcast-like content (pretty much every show except Run For The Hills and UPF), I'm not sure if another one of these was what the site needed, especially considering it's once again about a random pop-culture subject instead of the gaming content so many people have been missing.

I really hope that, after this, we can get Tamoor and Lucy to do some new show structured as shorter, gaming-related, videos instead of another podcast about showing things to Jeff Bakalar.

Yess this will be fantastic, All Systems Goku was a great time and dearly missed after it finished.
I feel like they should rope in Jan and Jeff G too, all the Js to add to the JoJo lineage.

I'm curious to see Bakalar's reaction to JoJo as a first anime, it's a wild one to start with.

@brainscratch: While I'm excited for this podcast, it's kind of strange that Giantbomb is basically a podcast network now. Yeah, podcasts have always been a big part of the site, but now it's nothing but.

Edit: oh and have to say I'm extremely disappointed that Gerstmann is not on this podcast, especially since the name is JeffJeff. There should be at least two Jeffs on the show!

@retris: I also feel there should be two Jeffs. I know feel robbed. That said, Jeff G (and even other Jeff G) are clearly quite busy with the kids and the other stuff. So.. I get it. But it is still sad. Maybe Geoff will join in? Why not.

I've never watched it, but I have to admit that I thought the appeal of the show WAS the nonsense ass pulls. Perhaps I have the wrong impression haha.

i love jojo and oddly enough prefered those first 2 seasons personally . its cool you guys get to watch a great anime ... that said i don't need another podcast , there are way too many podcasts in my rotation already and there are frankly more podcasts or videos that might as well be a podcast on this site than anything else now. i was already thinking i wasn't going to reup my sub when it expires in sept after getting suckered into it for another yr during the summer before all these new 'shows' were announced. the site is in need of gaming videos not more podcasts about random stuff game adjecent or not. this is definitely not helping change my mind about supporting the site in the future. also no offence to bakalar hes not a bad guy or anything but why is he in almost everything now?
