    Johnny is a Soviet soldier who served under Colonel Volgin in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. He has the letter "J" sewn onto his mask and armband.

    Johnny keeps Snake guarded and fed after Snake was captured and tortured by Volgin. If Snake throws the food back to him, he will strike a conversation about himself. He reveals that his name is Johnny, and that every firstborn son in his family is also named Johnny. He then gives Snake what he thinks is cigars (but is actually Snake's gas pistol), but refuses to help Snake escape his cell.
