    A journalist is a person who takes part in the career of journalism either as a paid job or as a hobby. Journalists obtain and decipher information and then deliver it to an audience through a number of means. A journalist will report on many topics such as culture, politics, and current events. Journalists can be split up into many different subcategories such as photographers, editors, writers etc.

    Journalists tend to put their own flair on a piece of news to differentiate it from any other source. Journalistic ethics is a topic that is central to forms of the occupation. Content published by a journalist can be accessed through outlets such as a radio, newspaper, the internet, and television.
