Mirrors Edge reminds me a helluva lot of Jet Set Radio actually. So I agree with your friend. Totally different games but stylistically and in principle I get the comparisons.

Jet Set Radio and it's sequel Future are two of my favourite games ever. Not only is the concept, style and music right on ball - but it's something different and fun.

Check out the original on Dreamcast too.

And also - post in this thread.

this is the kind of game i would like to see another sequel to, but on the wii.  *shake your can to spraypaint.  and the graphics would still hold up somewhat.

I found the cell shaded graphics to look as good as something like crackdown when in standard def but when transfered over to HD they looked really terrible. I was seriously surprised about how good the game looks considering it's age.

get2sammyb - I can see that  they both have similar themes, My brain is probably too stupid to connect the two together.... "GET DREAMCAST" is one of those long overdue intentions i keep putting off.

    Its Jet Grind Radio!

I just went on a rant telling my roommate how people are as stupid as a baby. I owuld repeat it here, but its too long.

and its a joke, please know that its a joke.

Well, it is called jet Grind radio, which, in my opinion, was the best game on the dreamcast save for the original Sambe. Ahh, I loved sambe.

I think you should to be honest. JSRF was easily one of the best Xbox games I have ever played. I haven't played the Dreamcast original, but JSRF is definitely a game that is very fun and has A LOT of replay value.

I'm still surprised we haven't seen another game in the series. It was such a fun and novel game that would look even better on curret gen systems.
