Even worse when you consider it might not be there at launch but can be implemented through DLC at a later date. It's scary
@korwin: Well the only reason they have to say this is because the game was being heavily criticized for possibly including them. It isn't like not having micro transactions is a marketing attempt for them, it seems to just be damage control.
Didn't they sell vehicle/weapon packs for the last game too?, stuff you couldn't unlock by just playing. I remember none of it was that great or necessary to enjoy the game.
Anyway can't wait to see all the dumb stuff they added and the improvements they seem to have made to the controls.

They sort of have to since the first Just Cause 3 images leaked contained hints at microtransactions in the game. I'm sure if those images didn't leak beforehand, they wouldn't have to come out and clarify that there are no microtransactions in the game.
