    Overview

    Kangiten is an aspect of the Hindu god Ganesha in Buddhism brought to Japan from China. Most often depicted as two embracing male and female elephants, Kangiten represents Tantric desires but also affords fortune in business endeavors. Kangiten also creates obstacles for believers that must be appeased through devotion.

    In Shin Megami Tensei

    Kangiten first appears in Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers as a member of the Enigma race, a clan of secret gods that can only be fused under certain conditions.

    In Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Kangiten appears as an Enemy Search encounter in Sector Horologium.
