Company Overview

Kaos Studios was formed in 2006 in New York City when publisher THQ hired the core members of Trauma Studios to create a new first person shooter for them. The game, Frontlines: Fuel of War, released in February 2008 for the Xbox 360 and Windows PCs. The companies next game, Homefront, was released during March 2011 on the Xbox 360, Windows PCs and the PlayStation 3. Unfortunately the game performed worse than expected and on June 13, 2011 publisher THQ announced the closure of the studio and the development team transferred over to THQ Montreal.
