Rudyard is the young son of Phoebe Dickens. He assists his mother in solving cases under the alias of 'Kid Riddle', his secret identity for which he wears a costume to mask his true identity (or so he believes, meanwhile it is painfully obvious to everyone who he is, a running joke through the game). While engaged in his Kid Riddle persona, he thrusts himself in to solving cases for the Dickens Detective Agency with enthusiasm and confidence. This comes through in the way he speaks to suspects in the game, by speaking very dramatically and an elaborate vocabulary akin to a comic book super hero. He is very close to his Grandfather, The Commodore, and looks up to him as a great detective.
