I thought about trying to review the Kinect sensor itself, but I think you already know whether or not you want to buy this peculiar device. A divisive machine to be certain, anyone that has heard about the Kinect for a great length of time has long since formed an opinion, so you don’t need mine. If your idea of fun involves having friends and family over and playing lighthearted entertainment for laughs while getting high on life, you want the sensor. If your idea of fun involves snipin...

Timed lag prevents more fun...but otherwise a real fun time...but 1

I was very hesitant to purchase the Kinect. I did not know how "wii" kiddy it would be or if I would want to spend a lot of time on this for the price of admission. XBOX 360 Review: Kinect Adventures 1

For the longest time, pack in games had become a thing of the past and then the Wii launched and to entice people to buy their product Nintendo packaged it with what would quickly become a cultural phenomenon, Wii Sports. Sony went the conventional route choosing to launch the Sony Move with Sports Champions, Microsoft on t...

I found myself laughing at how absurd this gimmick is, but I honestly had fun. 0

Kinect Adventures can basically be seen as the competition for Wii Sports. Both are pack-in games that comes with the accessory or console. Both were meant the show off the tech while making it accessible even for non-gamers. This does succeed in the accessibility factor, but does it hold up in being as addicting as Wii Sports? The bulk of the game comes from the adventure mode. In it you unlock either living statues which you can make recordings with, accessories and clothing for your 360 avatar...
