Is it just me or does this seem targeted for the EXACT demographic who would buy the Kinect?
I mean, as fun as Dance Central seems, I doesn't seem to be anything more than an elaborate scam to get a larger install base and more Gold subscribers. It's not like Mr. and Mrs. Doe are gonna remember to unsubscribe once they've put the 360 in the attic in June.

I'm gonna buy Kinect day one. It's $150 and is more fun than a wii. ( Don't plan on using it for any actual gaming, just novelty when friends are over )

This is obviously marketed to sell this to Grandparents to give this to their grandchildren for Christmas.

With all the hard work Harmonix do it seems a bit of an insult to call Dance Central an elaborate scam, I think it actually looks like what may be the only quality launch title for the system. Anyway, I watched the full video and there's no real way to advertise things without making it look like an advertisement but the loud and rather slow speech patterns which dominate this style of presenting are still the kind of stuff that makes me want to put my head in my hands. I was also very frustrated by the way that they tried to pass off midnight launches and online play as incredible and unique concepts within the world of gaming, mostly because they were pretty much trying to trick casual gamers into buying it with that stuff. The funniest parts of this though were undoubtedly "midnight madness" and the notion that Microsoft had created their own universe.
