For me it's straight to Critical, no question. Gonna do this right.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Game » consists of 7 releases. Released Sep 07, 2010
A PSP RPG from Square Enix in the Kingdom Hearts series that takes place roughly ten years prior to the original Kingdom Hearts, following Ventus, Aqua and Terra in their search for Master Xehanort...
What difficulty are you starting on?
lol well im not doing it on critical XD im just gonna do it on the standard or beginner difficulty :P
Proud. Glad I am, too. The Enchanted Dominion boss with Terra kicked my ass to Neverland and back. Since then I haven't lost to any bosses...
Damn you guys are crazy. Proud and Critical are too much for me haha. I just started the game and went with Standard mode. 2 hours in and it's really easy so far.
" Damn you guys are crazy. Proud and Critical are too much for me haha. I just started the game and went with Standard mode. 2 hours in and it's really easy so far. "That's why I like picking the harder difficulties in Kingdom Hearts games. I find the standard difficulty too easy.
Already beat the Japanese version on Proud so I'll be playing this on Critical. Still waiting for the game to arrive, though. I ordered the Europe-exclusive (for once we *don't* get screwed over) Special Edition on eBay and even though it doesn't officially release till the 10th, it already got shipped to me yesterday so hopefully I'll have it this week.
Oh, for anyone who's already started on Critical -- can you actually remain at level 1 throughout the entire game like in KH2 Final Mix? If not then that would be a bit of a bummer as having the option to grind allows you to negate all challenge even on Critical (I mean, it only takes 30 mins to gain 10 levels in pretty much every KH game).
I haven't picked this up yet, but I do plan to start on proud or critical. Which would you guys suggest?
" I'm contemplating on starting BBS on either Proud or Critical. "I recommend Proud for the first run through. Even if you've played KH before, this game is a LOT different. You can't mash X the whole time and expect to win, you actually have to consider what you're doing and when you're doing it. It's kind of a big step forward battle system wise, and the bosses are actually challenging. If you start on critical with no experience, you might get so frustrated your PSP explodes. Seriously. Almost threw mine at the wall at Terra's last battle.
I decided to start on Critical and Terra's first boss is pissing me off to no end. Had to put the PSP down to go to work or I may have ended up breaking it. Rage inducing I tell you.
