Anybody else getting constant lock ups on the 360 version?

I just got into the first town area in the game and it has locked up on me 3 times in the last 20 minutes. Twice while talking to NPCs and once while setting an active quest. My xbox is fine and I just played The Darkness 2 all the way through yesterday with no issues at all. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm 27 hours in (lol) on 360 and haven't seen a single lockup. Only bug I've seen is once when doors became noninteractive. I saved and then loaded and that fixed it.

I read in a review that a full install is heavily recommended on 360. Playing it off the disc does cause a tonne of problems apparently.

30 hours in and no problems. Its a pretty smooth running game. Havn't noticed any major framerate hitches and no glitches or lock-ups.

20+ hours in and not a single game crash, nor any major framedrop or frame lock. You could try to follow this and see if it will help:

    • Delete installed game
    • Clear system cache (System, Storage, Harddrive, Y button, Clear system cache)
    • Re-install game
    • Start the game and confirm update (Xbox live required)

Don't know how many hours, maybe around 15. But with an install, I've not had any problems. That's a weird, unfortunate problem.

    Fantastic advice here.

I'm 30 hrs in and nothing. I got stuck in some geometry once and had to load a save. That is really all I've experienced, w/zero freezes or FR drops at all.

Soooo nice, especially after my bug filled Skyrim experience.
