The use of peripherals has vastly changed the way games are played. This concept includes an array of items, including joysticks, plastic guitars & drum-sets, and specialized printers.
Games in which the player can directly control a spherical object or creature that rolls along surfaces, such as in Marble Madness. Often the basis of puzzle platformers where the sphere must be guided through an obstacle course.
Games with characters that sing.
Clouds that, for some reason, can be stood on without falling through.
Games whose main character is ball-shaped, sometimes with a face and/or hands/feet, but mostly just spherical.
A game that takes gameplay mechanics, characters, or story elements from an existing series in a separate and different direction, sometimes changing genres along the way.
Starman is an enemy in the Kirby series, and one of several entities in Nintendo's productions to have that name.
Games whose main character is so egotistical that the whole game just HAS to be named after them.
A game perspective that views the action from above, commonly at a fixed position and/or rotation.
A stance or movement by a video game character celebrating a current accomplishment.
