    Overview

    Kiyokazu Arai (荒井清和) is a Japanese illustrator and manga artist that is known for his unique charactertures. He is perhaps most well known for his four-panel manga series called Basic'n (べーしっ君) and for his illustrated portraits of Famitsu Magazine's video game reviewers. Arai is also famous for his character design work on several video games including the Famicom version Yuji Horii's adventure game, Hokkaidou Rensa Satsujin and the first entry in the Itadaki Street franchise.
