L.A. Noire | First Trailer Coming This Thursday
Fuck yes, Rockstar + noir is excellent stuff. I totally forgot about this game, good to see it's still coming.
" So this wasn't a trailer?Considering someone posted it last Wednesday, it's entirely possible.
"
Nope, multi-platform thankfully." Sounds good. Kinda curious if it's still the PS3 exclusive as planned. Would come off as a weird move for rockstar now. "

If it's anything like Red Dead Redemption in 1940's L.A. plus the crime investigation elements. I have a lot of faith in Rockstar, probably more than any other developer lately.
Awesome.
I've been waiting for this game for a while now, I have a feeling it will be everything that Mafia II wasn't.
" Awesome. I've been waiting for this game for a while now, I have a feeling it will be everything that Mafia II wasn't. "This is exactly what I'm hoping. I enjoyed Mafia II for what it was, but it could have been so much more.
Just so you guys know Rockstar isn't a single studio. The guys who make the GTA games aren't the guys who make the Red Dead games who aren't the guys who made this.
Trailer looks impressive. The voice acting sounds really good and the facial animation etc
Story feels like it could be cool to if its a typical noir / chinatown kind of experience
I don't think it's gonna be like that. At least I really hope it isn't..." If it's like GTA or RDR just in a new world, then I have no interest in this. I'm pretty much done with that style of game at this point, but if it something different I'll probably check it out. "
I assume it'll be like a modern (and way more stylish) take on the early Police Quest games, with more focus on detective work and less on killing hundreds of dudes.
Edit: My mistake, there are about 10,000 guns in the trailer.
Oh man, just saw it. The facial animation and lip sync animations are AMAZING. The best I have ever seen in a video game. I SERIOUSLY CANNOT WAIT.
