L.A. Noire is a detective thriller developed by Team Bondi in Australia and published by Rockstar Games.
Reefer Madness is not the last DLC, more content on the way
Rockstar has confirmed that more DLC will be coming for L.A. Noire. I'm hoping this means the cut Bunco (Fraud) and Burglary desks are coming, and given that those parts were supposedly complete but cut due to space constraints, it'd make sense to release those rather than create entirely new content. Either way, I'm super excited for more L.A. Noire content.
I'm really glad they're supporting it with DLC. I've played all of them but Reefer Madness and they've been excellent so far.
YAY! More trophies and cases!
I really like the stuff they come up with, based on real cases and movies....good stuff.
That's good. I haven't downloaded the current stuff, but I thought it was all just the preorder content. Actual new content would be awesome, even if its just cut content.

The first 2 cases were pre-order cases. The next 2 were not. There is also the PS3 exclusive case, so I guess that makes 5 extra cases. They all feel like cut content give how there are main story ties.
Awesome that they aren't just preorder, and I prefer this trend to preorder content (making available later at a cost) as opposed to never getting it. but considering all the motion capture that has to be done I bet they already recorded all the content. They just need to build the game around it.
According to Lazlow, not only was the content done, but was cut because 3 discs was plenty, claiming releasing 4 discs would have been overkill. What the fuck does that even mean?!
Will future DLC be covered with the Rockstar Pass, or is Reefer Madness the last piece of DLC that it covers?

@xhavoc86: Well Rockstar DLC is normally worth the price of admission, but I am getting tired of stand alone case DLC. I wish they would add an entire new desk. But there's a problem with that... seeing how the game ended. however, I wouldn't mind seeing a whole desk concentrating on Jack Kelso, but I would be ok with single cases too.
@xhavoc86: They could go back in time no problem. I always thought he was promoted to Homicide too quickly, they could put another two desks in there.Agreed....but i still wouldn't mind more Jack Kelso, i thoguht he was very likable minus the "princess" thing.

Every game that has ever existed has cut content. Half the time you could find it buried in the code and dummied out. The only thing DLC has done is give incentive to go back and finish cut content. It's the same how popular games with a lot of cut content would get "Director's Cut" rereleases.
You could say "they should've finished ALL of the possible content before selling the game" but then the game would never be released. You wind up in a 3D Realms situation where every six months they have a new idea for something they want to add and with every day, their tech gets older and older. LA Noire had been in development for seven years already, and what was there on release was a good enough value for 60 bucks for me.
Its nice to hear there is more game coming, but holding back content for DLC is still the saddest, growing trend in the industry.I may be mistaken (which I have been already once in this thread) but on the 360, 3 is the limit if you want to make a profit at $59.99. Microsoft has companies pay a licensing fee per disc. The only game to exceed three discs was a Microsoft published game.

I think it was id software talking smack about content in rage being hampered because of the limitations imposed by the 360.
