So, I just finished this mission and it had to be the worst case so far. Yeah, I finished through it in a reasonable amount of deaths, maybe 5 at the end but that is five too many for a game where I only died twice before hand.

Is the game going to ask me to swim underwater next? Or escort some witness to the court?  Or both at the same time? The case was simple enough, everyone was easy to detect although placing clues to lies are getting harder. Cole also seems to be bending a little more but yeah, these types are missions of being far enough away and not too close are never fun.

Besides that the game is still pretty great, collecting evidence, coming with clues is great although everyone has a tell. Also, selecting lie, 4/5 times they are going to say the evidence needed in order to connect them to the question in hand, "Oh yeah? What piece of paper do you have to placing me at the dinner with Joe Shmo"

What was so hard about that case?

I can't remember dying more than once in any case.

Lie always requires you to select evidence.

The problem I had with this case is tailing the lady on foot from the motel. Though I may have only had to do that because I did a poor job interrogating her. But I thought this case and the beginning case with the shoe store shooting had great set-ups that thrust you into the drama. Every other case began a little too Law and Order-like.

Haha, you have a point there.  Kind of takes you out of the experience.  Anyway, I don't think I had much trouble with that case.  At least, I probably didn't because I can't remember it very well.  Are you talking about the one where you follow the chick into the diner and what not?

It was the one where you tail the persn around town in a car and on foot. I just did terribly on that mission...

I thought that when the woman entered the rest room, that she actually went through the door outside when shots were fired and was running away from me, turns out the lady i had been chasing was not her so I went back to the bus stop and looked around and couldn't decide what to do next. I restarted and had to do the driving part again and only then noticed that she entered the ladies room and didn't head outside

I think The Set Up is one of the few good cases in the game.

Easy just quit and resume again and write down the answers you get right until you figured it out. I do that on my second playthough, for the first one, just live with your mistakes. This game is flawed, even though I had a good system to see who was lying, some ppl will be perfectly still, doesn't move their eyes and the answer is still doubt or lie. I mean honestly they should let the actors or bad actors know like a consistent system. Rather than what the bad actor or actress things lying looks like overacting it more than jim carrey.

You could use 'lie' sometimes as almost a free intuition point in the way you describe, sometimes Cole gives hints about what he's about to bust out too.
Sometimes I wish Cole brought in a big sack with all the evidence in it and stared at them while rummaging his hand in it when you press 'lie' so when they give the hint at what it is he pulls it out and shouts 'Hah!'

    … But that's just me.
