Has there been any word on when the co-op will be updated into this game?

I beileve they're going to patch it in on the day the PS3 version comes out. So September 28.

Yeah, online coop is coming September 28th.  There's still local in there when you download it.

You think they'd take off the 'Online Multiplayer 2' part from the game description on XBL marketplace considering ITS NOT FUCKING THERE. 
Waste of 1200 for me, couldn't give a shit about playing it single player completely defeats the point.

the fact that this game shipped to the 360 with out the co-op is in excusable.  By the time it comes out reach will be here and i doubt anyone will come back for the co-op no matter how good it is.   i probably won't,  which is too bad this game is very good.

Wonder if there'll be matchmaking for people who don't know friends who own the game. That would also be good for the Gears games. If no matchmaking then anyone wanting to play Co-op then let me know, obviously after the 28th as I don't want to come around your house and be sodomised with a broken lightbulb, whilst "It's a small world" plays on loop in the background.

So I'm starting to think the coop patch is never coming out on 360...

This is BS..... They have "delayed" the online co-op again and are not sure when it will be done. This really tics me off. Not because I expect every game to have online but they stated in nearly every review and release about the game that online co-op is just going to wait until the PS3 release (Sep 28). Now, they don't even had a date.  
 
That sucks! I really hope they don't drop the ball on this. This game is made for co-op and is very lacking without online co-op. 

Hazza! The co-op patch is out. Well, I guess they came through. Not too long after they promised. I guess I can put away my frustration. I hope the co-op works well and I am looking forward to playing this online.

Online is buggy. So, so buggy. It's depressing, myself and my partner have been stuck behind things, respawned in weird places. Just want to play it, but can't :(
