A semi-automatic shotgun created in South Africa during the 1980s for riot control.
Assault Rifle refers to a basic design of a weapon that combines the abilities of older long-range rifles and the rapid fire of sub-machine guns. Common designs include the M-16, M-4, AK47 (and 74), and the L85A1.
A baseball bat is a smooth, wooden or metal club used in baseball to hit the ball, although many games use it as an accessible and effective blunt melee weapon.
A baton is a weapon used mainly for law enforcement. Kurtis Stryker from the Mortal Kombat series uses a baton.
A chemical that makes people pass out. Ubiquitous in pulp stories, TV, and film as a handy means by which characters (often villains), sedate and kidnap other characters (often attractive women). Rarely appears in video games, but has still made a few appearances.
An illegal drug, often seen in games depicting criminal acts. Often referenced without actual graphic descriptions of its use.
Coins have long been used in video games as both a form of currency and as a means of accruing points.
Fancy clthes worn on special occosions like weddings funerals and baptisms etc.
A garment made for covering the hand.
A grenade is an explosive device traditionally thrown by hand, but may also be propelled by a rifle or launcher.
A gun that uses various types of grenades as ammunition.
Considered one of the most frequent and controversial implements of destruction in video games and real life, guns are devices that fire projectiles with explosive force.
A very destructive drug!
A compound often used in bullet proof vests and other protective clothing.
A knife is a commonly seen object in video games. Usually used for close quarters combat, or as a cutting tool.
A leather jacket is an article of clothing often associated with bikers and "tough guys" in general.
Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.
A powerful hallucinogenic drug that became popular for recreational use in the 1960s and '70s. It is illegal in the US and in most other member states of the United Nations, but was notoriously tested by the CIA as a mind-control drug during the MKULTRA research program, sometimes being given to people without their knowledge.
Machine guns, generally, are heavier weapons with a rapid rate of fire. To quote the Quake manual, they "eat ammo like popcorn."
Marijuana is a recreational drug that occasionally appears in video games, usually those with a crime theme.
Usually put on face to either hide the users face or as a stylish item.
Flammable liquid in a glass container with a cloth wick. Light wick and throw.
A bag, usually cloth, containing a whole lot of money.
Currency consisting of printed paper.
A weapon that launches rockets.
The most powerful weapon at short range. Effective against Zombies, Nazis, Demons, etc. Videogame shotguns tend to have exaggerated inaccuracy at long range- real life shotguns are still fairly accurate over a decent distance, while videogame shotguns rarely go more than fifteen feet before becoming completely ineffective.
A performance enhancing drug.
A firearm capable of firing pistol ammunition automatically. Favored for shorter distances, or dealing death indoors.
A sophisticated outfit for heroes and villains alike.
A light jacket typically made of polyester or nylon and featuring full-length zipper in the front.
