In other words, "we're making a shorter map because making a larger one requires time and resources."
 
Even though this is still scheduled for release September, and will invariably be delayed at least twice. 

Great, shorter campaigns were what I was hoping for for DLC, but I was also hoping there would be three of them to compensate for shorter length, but I guess one isn't bad. That said, 7 bones seems a bit much for barely half a campaign, maybe 2 bones or 3 bones would be more reasonable.

Exciting I guess. At least now people in the L4D2 hate camp will be shut up about one thing. Too bad I have the 360 version and have to pay for it.

Geez, shut up all you complainers. DLC is a great thing to have for this game, and it doesn't matter if it is shorter than a regular campaign, 2 maps is still a significant amount. They say it will be "streamlined," which provides for a tighter experience, especially in Versus as they are noting. Hopefully they made new assets and have brand-new environments for this; most likely yes. Don't complain about this: this is what everyone was asking for.

Probably a good thing but I don't think I'll buy it. The modded campaigns are quite fun and I'm not a huge fan of Paid DLC as it is. If it's a free download for PC then ofcourse that's good. More shit for free.

$7 for the 360 version.  To expensive in my book.

Not sure if I will get this or not. It will be close to the release of Left 4 Dead 2.

Yay! So you can play it for like a month or two and then spend 60 dollars on an entirely new game!

I certainly would not mind a short, official campaign to munch on while I wait for Left 4 Dead 2. Some of the custom maps on the PC are really good, but I think Valve maps have this specific flair about them..

Why is it even when the boycotters start getting what they want, it's still not enough?
 
Anywho, awesome. I hope they fill all the gaps with mini or full campaigns. Most people believe that if L4D is one full story, it goes like this:

So it would be nice to have those spaces in the "Story" Explained.
