    Background

    Vieko and Michael studied Fine Arts, both are very passionate about design and most definitively do not consider themselves "artists". They have collaborated many years professionally helping clients with branding and development services. In 2009, they jumped in the deep end of the pool and started working on games, something they have both wanted to do since childhood.

    Foundation

    LeGrudge & Rugged was founded on the basis of a long conversation Michael and Vieko had most days while working advertising: if you could make a game, any game: what would it look like and how would it play? These two fine gents have argued over things such as: design, trends, women, music and games. This "arguing" is one of the cornerstones of their process, the other one: constantly competing to out-condescend the other.

    Why LeGrudge & Rugged?

    Lou LeGrudge and Dirk Rugged are Vieko and Michael's Xbox LIVE aliases. It's rumoured that Vieko's Juri absolutely destroys Michael's Blanka... ANY DAY!
