Leo is an offense oriented character who can convert a knockdown into a mixup opportunity using his back-turned Brynhildr Stance, which grants him several unique options such as a cross-up dash, a quick overhead and multiple throw-immune attacks. While in stance Leo cannot jump or block, but he can execute a counter move that stays active for a long time. Leo can contest fireballs with his Graviert Wurd, which has a sonic boom input, and can sometimes reversal out of trouble with his Eisen Strum flash kick. One of Leo's primary weaknesses is his limited mobility: while most characters in Guilty Gear can run, Leo can only dash a fixed distance.
