i got to play 9 or 10 story levels and the e3 press conference level. the ps3 did not have the latest firmware so could not see the trophies. i also messed about with the creat a level mode for a while my opinion on the game is that it will be one of the best ps3 games of the year

just got back from playing lbp any questions
"Yeah! How exactly do you make enemies and stuff like that? Any insight?"what u mean make enemies do mean in creation mode or just normal story if you mean story the only enemies i fought where bosses which are hard to defeat
was not allowed to film or take pictures a community guy from media mm was walking me through it and then got to play it on my own but did not risk filming
"Do you have any proof ?"

"Are you telling the truth?"yes i played it in the little big planet shop ( well not really a shop you cant buy anything) in manchester uk i got given some free stuff that i will take a pic of if you dont believe me
"So why didn't you create the topic once you returned from the E3 conference ?"i did not play it at e3 i played it today i said i played the level that was used in the sony press conference the one were they walked you through the sales and that which seems wierd that they would include it but yeah i played it today
"Ma7moud said:So does it deserve all the hype ?"So why didn't you create the topic once you returned from the E3 conference ?"i did not play it at e3 i played it today i said i played the level that was used in the sony press conference the one were they walked you through the sales and that which seems wierd that they would include it but yeah i played it today"

"I will assume you speaketh the trutheth...How long (on average) did it take to complete one level?"yes i am 100% telling the truth i think i took around 20 mins a level i was there for about 3 hour playing it
"mutdlegend said:yeah i was surprised as well and there challenging as well the boss fight are also challenging and theres multiple paths and lots of collectables i played one level two or three time to collect everything in it"yes i am 100% telling the truth i think i took around 20 mins a level i was there for about 3 hour playing it "That really surprises me then...I was not expecting each individual level to last that long."
"mutdlegend said:from what i saw on qore it looks limitless."i got to play 9 or 10 story levels and the e3 press conference level. the ps3 did not have the latest firmware so could not see the trophies. i also messed about with the creat a level mode for a while my opinion on the game is that it will be one of the best ps3 games of the year"1. Have you take pics/a video of it?
2.Are the controls ''just right''?
3.Are there lots of pieces of stuff to play around with in the level creator mode? Or is it very limited?"
You're really lucky :( So is the E3 level included in the game? Cause I really wanted to play that for some reason.
I second that, why aren't there more people queuing up to play the game?
Also, did you get to play co-op at any stage? And how did that compare to playing on your own? I've heard that it's a bit dry playing the levels single player.
One other question...what is the music like throughout the levels?

"If you did play this at a shop.... why were you alllowed to play so long. Aren't there other people in Manchester who have a PS3.......
Also you aren't the most impartial of persons to ask about the quality of game seeing as how your avatar is from the game."
"You're really lucky :( So is the E3 level included in the game? Cause I really wanted to play that for some reason."first the shop is just for lbp there is about 9 ps3s there with the game playable and i went early morning when everyones at work secondly i put the avatar to lbp after i got back from playing it i was not that hyped for the game until i played it
"I second that, why aren't there more people queuing up to play the game?as i said i played it was early morning . i did play co-op and its great and single is just as much fun and for your last question i dont know there was no sound cause there was like 9 other tvs

dudes, he isnt lying, check my forum topic http://www.giantbomb.com/littlebigplanet/61-20602/littlebigplanet/61-20602/little-big-planet-has-its-own-travelling-store/35-15315/ i got some photos but likewise didnt have chance to video it.
so anyway, i didnt get chance to mess around with the level editor (late for my bus home) so i was wondering whether you reckon the effort required to make a level will give sufficient reward when playing it? Im abit wary of level editors because if you spend ages trying to make a fun and interesting level and then nobody plays it feels like a waste of time.
i would say if you put alot of effort into it it will pay off because of how many people are going to buy the game
Can I recreate 2D levels from other great 2D games from the past? like my game Robocop vs The Terminator.
"Can I recreate 2D levels from other great 2D games from the past? like my game Robocop vs The Terminator."yes and no the game is 3d and 2d i mean you can go up and down not just left and right i also think you will be able to make fairly reconisable levels but not the exact same as some games but i saw someone trying to make a mario level and it looked quite like it
wo...wo...wo...! nintendo arent gonna be happy about that! lol.
did you get any chance to explore any more game modes other than storyline and create a level? (i dunno if there is any) i only played storyline until i got to a boss section and had no clue as to what i had to do because the rep had disappeared. At this point i messed around with the stickers and clothing etc. i like the on the fly changes its possible to make.
btw: some of the reps in that place were crazy! one had a huge beard, one had a massive afro and the rep i talked to was absolute crap at the game! i kept watching him plunge to death after missing platforms.
"wo...wo...wo...! nintendo arent gonna be happy about that! lol.i got to play some levels that had been created that day and on some of the bosses you have to hit the red switch things thats on the boss

^^ if you need to ask that question then the answer is probably no. try not to think too much. :)

"Did the fun ever stop and just start to feel repetitive or boring?"When i played it i did notice the game kinda gets abit tedious if your playing it alone. it was definately the most fun playing along with someone because you get to laugh at the other persons mistakes, etc..
"How do you kill enemies?"some bosses had red switches on them and if you hit the they will blow up
"Did the fun ever stop and just start to feel repetitive or boring?"for me it did not get boring at all or repetitive i played co-op and single player
"yes its coming to london on october 5thDo you know bloody jelous I am? :PYou wouldn't happen to know if there is anywhere else in England which will have a LittleBigPlanet shop-like place coming?"
"On a scale of 10-11, how awesome is Little Big Planet?"if 11 means one of the best games on the ps3 then 11 if 10 dose then 10
"I have just read that LBP will lack online create mode so I think you ask them about that."you can still make things and upload them and you play them you just will not be able to make things online with your friends thats all not a bit problem how many people were going to make a level online with there friends mine would just mess it up cause they dont have head sets
"Unlikely you'd get much of an answer, but you could ask them how much of a wait it's going to be for that patch (rough time frames), and what else they are considering including in the patch.i will ask that going in ten mins
"
^^ its pretty good. zooms out to accommodate for all players. i didnt manage to 'test' it to its full range however. being a platformer the camera isnt so much of an issue as with other games.
"wo...wo...wo...! nintendo arent gonna be happy about that! lol.IMO, it seems like Nintendo and Sony are on good terms with each other. IE...Final Fantasy. Nintendo AND Sony are making FF games. Which is something I'm happy about, my 2 favourite systems companies being okay with using each others ideas. =D
"Stevokenevo said:Square does that independently its not like SOny and NIntendo actually care for each other. I think they prefer each other over Micrsoft tho. And to the nintendo guy parodies and tributes distributed through a free format are completely legal, so nintendo can't sue a guy for recreating the mario levels in LBP"wo...wo...wo...! nintendo arent gonna be happy about that! lol.IMO, it seems like Nintendo and Sony are on good terms with each other.
