Overview
Loriciels was founded by Marc Bayle and Laurent Weill in France in 1983. They primarily developed for European home computers (including the French Oric1, from which their name is derived) and would later move onto console games.
In 1990 Loriciels was having some financial troubles and the company simply dropped the "s" from their name becoming Loriciel. By the year 1992 the company was still having financial troubles and once again changed their name, this time to Virtual Studio. In 1995 Virtual Studio officially went defunct.
