The old LucasArts / LucasFilms adventure games were awesome.  They have a undyingly loyal cult following, yet they've hung these fans out to dry.  Will we never again see a game like Grim Fandango.  Will we never know Ron Gilbert's secret to monkey island.  Apparently not.  It's a shame all they do now is make star - wars games.  they could be much more.

You'll never get another LucasArts Adventure game, but there are still a lot of Adventure games being made to a decent standard by smaller companies you know. If you want a revival of Adventure games of that calibre, a better bet is to support the people working on titles in the genre so that standards will improve to a higher level once more. AFAIK LucasArts doesn't have anyone left working there from that era anyway - any Adventure game they made would probably suck as much as their other recent games...
