    Luigi's Mansion is a Gamecube launch title that features Luigi as the main character as opposed to his more famous sibling. In the game, Luigi must explore a mansion that he supposedly won in order to save his brother Mario.

    We all remember Luigi's mansion. It was not only Game of the Year 2001, but also Game of the Decade. Loved by all for it's revolutionary vacuum-cleaner physics, and unbeatable translucent ghostly graphics. 
     
    And while we all waited anxiously for the continuation on the Wii, we have yet be graced with squeal. But now that the 3DS has been revealed, I am actually GLAD they skipped the Wii. Why? Because 3D ghost suction sounds amazing! I think that it's destined to happen, after all, LinkyShrinks reminded us that Nintendo re-registered the Luigi's Mansion trademark! It's just a matter of time, and I, for one, will keep waiting patiently. 
     
    Do you think Luigi's Mansion could be amazing on the 3DS, or should we leave perfection alone and not make another game?

    It was a really fun game, it just shouldn't have been the GC's launch game.  With that said yea I think it could have a really fun game on either the 3DS or the Wii.  I'll have to throw the 1st game in the Wii just for the memories.

    Yeah, I really didn't mind Luigi's Mansion either. I really should go back and play that again, because I have good memories of it.

    Oh shit, I totally forget all about this until I spotted it in some other old thread that got bumped. I must be the fuckin' man... Actually, I'm slightly embarrassed that I figured this was big enough to deserve it's own thread- but hey, I was 19 and crazy, no regrets.

    I really loved the first game, especially the music.

    Wouldn't mind a redone version of this on the Wii considering how few new first party games are out for it though I'd really love it if they got rid of the inverted controller option. Luigi's Mansion is a fun looking game from what little I've played/seen of it but definitely had some control issues that hopefully will be fixed on the 3ds.

    Dose the option to invert your controls bother you?

    Sorry, should have been that there's not an option to invert the right stick that I find annoying. Many of those GC games just have almost zero options in the menus.
