    Biography

    Luke is the prince and future king of the birdman city of Bedoe as well as good friends with the Shining Force's member Peter. Luke is a headstrong and adventurous character who does not agree with the isolationist politics of his kingdom. He is sent to retrieve a raft for the Shining Force in the nearby village of Polca but upon arrival he discovers the town is under attack by the devils. His comrades are killed by the devils and Luke himself is knocked unconscious. When the battle ends, he joins the Shining Force to help in their fight against Zeon, the king of the devils.

    Character Strengths and Weaknesses

    When compared to other members of the Shining Force, Luke falls drastically behind in almost all measures. His only strength is that he is a flying character. This allows Luke to ignore all terrain penalties and gives him a tremendous movement advantage over ground combatants. This means Luke is best used as a style of support character where the player is incentivized to use his mobility to aid other characters, while keeping him away from one on one fights.
