Lux

Lux is the main character of Scarlet Shadow. He's a 19 years old human, who's particulary good at swordsplay, given that he trained with it since childhood. At the beginning of Scarlet Shadow, he has teamed up with the Keruby Irid in order to defeat the Ether Animus, however his true goal is to get revenge. He's usually quite the nice guy, who only talks when necessary, but often teases Lumi and jokes with her. He's also a very loyal person, as once he makes a commitment he hardly holds back. His magic element is light.

Story

Before the events of Scarlet Shadow

Lux was born in the city of Hygora 19 years prior to the beginning of Scarlet Shadow. His father was a swordplay teacher and a member of the Ether Animus, though Lux didn't know at the time. One of Lux's first memories the player sees is the meeting with Gelya on the Tower Of Hygora, the tallest building in his city. After that, they became best friends.

Lux was also studying at Hygora Swordplay Academy: he was an above average student, but not an exceptional one. His father also never encouraged him in swordsplay, ending up exhorting Lux to stop with the hard training he underwent.

However, his life changed two years before the beginning of Scarlet Shadow, when the Black Keruby Darkrius attacked Hygora and destroyed various houses, including Gelya's. After this event, he was recruited by the Keruby Irid, who promised him he would avenge his friend. With a specific training, Lux managed to strengthen his body and also improved his magic abilities.

Personality

Although Lux travels alone for a long time, he actually proves several times that he prefers company to solitude, even if his detached attitude often doesn't show it. Examples of this attitude can be seen when he's disappointed by the fact that Irid's spirits don't talk, but also by the fact that he willingly accepts Lumi's whims, with whom he often jokes and he establishes a relationship of complicity.

Abilities

Thanks to Irid's training, Lux abilities Lux's abilities have improved exponentially, making him one of the strongest swordsmen in the world. While he still prefers not to use magic, his abilities allow him to use it through his sword to launch powerful attacks, as seen in the Light Beam technique. Anyways, Lux prefers to use his sword as a primary source of damage.
