    Overview

    The M-15 Vindicator is a 3 round burst assault rifle in Mass Effect 2. it is unlocked during the Archangel rescue mission. It is arguably the best all around assault rifle due to its small recoil, high accuracy, and moderate damage. It is found during the Archangel recruitment mission on a couch when Shepherd meets Archangel. The M-15 Vindicator is manufactured by Elanus Risk Control Services for the Blue Suns mercenary group.  

    Stats

    The M-15 Vindicator has a capacity of 96 rounds, and 24 rounds per clip. Through player driven tests, It has been determined that it has a a base DPS of 145 damage per second. According to an official post on the Bioware forums, it does 1.25 extra damage to armor, shields, and barriers. This makes it an effective weapon in all missions during the game.
