    The M-6 Carnifex is a heavy pistol in Mass Effect 2, and is acquired through Mordin's recruitment mission. It has the higher damage of the two heavy pistols in the game.
     

    Stats

    The M-6 Carnifex has a 18 rounds, and 6 rounds per clip. Through player driven tests, It has been determined that it has a a base DPS of 71 damage per second. According to an official post on the Bioware forums. it does 1.5 extra damage to armor. This makes it an effective weapon during missions in which enemies have high armor (such as Krogans).
