Ever since it was announced at E3 we haven't heard much about this title. It was recently rumored that Mad Max is expected to release before April 2014 and also Just Cause 3 will be releasing in 2015.

This "leaked" gameplay has emerged. I thought this was a car only game but it looks like it will be a third person action game.

I don't have much affection for Mad Max, but I cant wait to play a new Avalanche game. Also I'm a sucker for tagging enemies.

It does look less over-the-top than Just Cause 2 though.

@jimmyfenix: Well seeing as a trailer already exists, which also shows Max engaging in hand to hand combat...that was pretty evident that you could get out your car..or have you not seen the gameplay trailer?

It's only a small amount of footage, but I'm liking what I'm seeing! I REALLY hope this game is good!

I think this game has looked pretty cool from what I've seen so far, and it's from the dev that brought us Just Cause 2! The last trailer of the game posted on this site looked really promising. This gameplay footage doesn't really tell us much though.

That looks like it could be really awesome.

So, is this Borderlands pre-cel-shading? :P

Max has a fucked up leg that's in a metal brace. Probably trying to reproduce the limp he has in the movies.

Didn't care to play Just Cause, but this looks good.

All it needs is ladies in sexy outfits. Pretty sure Rage is partially inspired by Mad Max.

I don't know what you mean. This looks to have much better driving and more use for vehicles (like pulling down that tower). It was kind of lame that you couldn't take the vehicles into any areas, or climb any walls. There were barriers everywhere. This looks more seamless. Third-person is also a big plus for me.

It seemed pretty lack luster. I was under the impression this would be more like Fallout with cars. But from that brief footage, it looks like Rage. Its kind of hard to tell from that type of footage. But it didn't give me a good first impression. And it didn't look all that great. Just a generic 3rd person action game. Just like Rage.

Seems like it has potential.

Just Cause 2 was amazing. Whatever Avalanche does after that game I am interested to see.
