I skipped last year's game but I ran the ill fated online franchise for Madden 10. I'd be down to combine the two, not sure how any sort of carry over works?

If @dexterslu wants to be commish that's fine with me, I'll update the original post with everyone's team selections until we work out the details.

the madden 11 one went well other then people quitting because they had a losing record even though theres always next season. Anyway I would love to have last years carry over if everyone stayed for multiple seasons also dexter would you be willing to trade Nick Fairley

I agree on all those, not sure what we need to do so we honor the old league but can still function with everyone else. Hopefully the details become clearer as the release date approaches. Very excited for this game.

There really needs to be talking done now. I believe that Dexterslu is in the process of moving, so he probably would be thankful for the help. I am gonna go ahead and also say that we need to agree on a time for the advances to happen, because I have started a new job, and as of right now, I leave at 5 in the morn, and get home at 10 at night during the weekdays. (Teaching/ Coaching football!) This is really because of the extreme heat, and so when it cools down, I should be getting home around 7 or 8 at night instead.

Also, who wants to shine my ring from last year? (Gotta start having some fun smack talking lol)

for sure along with planning out free agency draft etc. also I dont need to shine your wrong your lucky my game got simmed and you didnt have to come back to mile high

Well, you mentioned me. You didn't send me a message, but looks like things are moving along swimmingly. @tracerace11 is right, I am in the process of moving to Washington DC, and taking over a new job. I'm not really sure what my availability is going to be like in the coming weeks, I'll probably be moving the same week the game is out so I'd say the best time to actually begin the league would be the week the actual NFL Starts.

With my schedule being a little crazier, it's probably best that I'm not the commissioner this year. I will however play, and of course I'll take my Lions.

To start you'd be best off to go to the Madden 11 boards and check out how I organized the thread.

I am down to be a part of the league. Will probably be getting the game early sometime next week.

Disclaimer

1. This is simulation league, no going for it on every 4th down, no abuse of exploits that are found in the game.

2. We will play 2 games a week. If you don't have time to play 2 games a week, please don't join - it will save us all a lot of stress/anger

3. If you are easily angered and cannot handle losing then please do not bother to join, it will be a terrible experience for everyone. If a guy gets lucky, your guy gets hurt, the madden AI gods decide to make your guys fumble or blow coverages or whatever. dealwithit.gif. venting is fine, but if you're going to throw a fit and quit every other week it's just not worth it to put yourself through that kind of situation!

4. The key to a successful league is communication, which means you are actively participating (contacting opponents etc). If you any questions, comments, suggestions, complaints etc please voice them in this thread.

5. The league is dependent on strong communication, if you have questions or concerns please post them in the thread or contact me via PM. With that being said If you drop out this season without notice - don't expect to be welcomed back next season.

Agreed, I'll be putting in a close request for this thread with the mods. Thanks to @dexterslu for getting the old one transferred over so everyone is happy with this deal.
