    MadWorld

    Game » consists of 4 releases. Released Mar 10, 2009

    MadWorld is an artistically stylized over the top action game for the Wii created by Platinum Games. The main character, Jack, must compete in a kill or be killed TV show called Death Watch and gains points for the most brutal kills he can pull off.

    I like MadWorld a lot more now.

    So, MadWorld is seeming to be a better game when I am on a certain substance. I was really dissapointed when I first played it a couple days ago.The story doesn't seem so cheesy with the dialouge, and what I think is the worst mix up in voice actors ( switch Spike with John DiMaggio plzthx). It is almost like watching some artsy anime, but I feel like its almost a big Fist of the North Star / Escape from New York manga, which is pretty dope.

    yay.

    Yea, overtly visually stimulating games always tend to be more fun when under the influence of certain stuff. On another note, the game is considerably more fun on the hardest difficulty, make sure you get ther eand play through again. Only on "hard" do NPC's come alive, elsewhere they are dull and unresponsive. PG blatantly pandered to the now common Wii userbase, despite the fact thay are supposedly a developer of hardcore games. MadWorld got  *** from me, but I wanted to give it less because there were some idiotic design decison in the game. It has been one of my biggest dissppointments so far this year.

    @Linkyshinks:

    I hear ya man. At first I was thinking this would be another great Sega beat 'em up like Streets of Rage, but it feels like a really dated game almost. I would have thought that certain parts of the game would be better designed, or more properly flexed. I feel like I have way more options in a game like Streets of Rage 3 than in MadWorld. There's also a huge lack of background sound. The cut scenes feel so dull and lifeless, and some of the editing and timing of things feels poor.

    But pretty game ids pretty game.

    Oh, and I can't wait for that higher difficulty! Then its going to feel like the AI is on. :D
