Magget Byrde first appears in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All. She is a police officer accused of murdering her lover. Phoenix Wright proves her innocent, but she is fired from her job afterward. Next, in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations, she is working as a waitress at Tres Bien. Phoenix learns that she was convicted of murdering a customer, but appeals the case on the grounds that Maggey's defense attorney was fake. Although she is again proven innocent, she leaves the waitress job.
Most recently, she appeared in Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth as an overnight security guard for the prosecutor's offices. She is not formally charged with a murder this time, although she is suspected of the crime for a few moments until Edgeworth proves she could not have been the murderer.
